To me, Andreas Hofer is a national hero - definitely! History tells us, he defended the country, I stand by this country. This country is ours and no one else’s. Andreas Hofer is a role model for me. For his time. I have to say that, yes. Today, the youth, the next generation, they probably don’t know who Andreas Hofer is. But I think, that these things are being passed on to the next and the next generations. We were taught in school, what a hero he was and all the things he did, how he unified everyone ? for me he is ? typically Tyrolean. This land is ours, when someone wants to take the land away from us, then he can get lost, we have to defend our country. I am simply a patriotic Tyrolean.
